Facilities
FIS manages the food processing facilities at the Agri-Food Centre, Stoke Climsland. These facilities can be configured in many ways over the three production areas with the majority of the plant and machinery being portable. The facilities can be used to support any food and drink based business.
The facilities are available both with and without technical support at the following rates;
With full technical support:
- £300 plus VAT per half-day for members
- £400 plus VAT per half-day for non-members
Without support:
- £200 plus VAT per half-day for members
- £300 plus VAT per half-day for non-members
The FIS state of the art and purpose built facilities are available to all businesses in the food sector to assist with:
- New product development
- Small scale manufacturing
- Product concepts
- Test markets for new products
- Off-line product samples
- Up-scaling of production
- Research and development
- Supplier days
- Value added staff training days
The equipment available within three purpose built processing areas includes:
